Hello everyone!

It was great as always to see everyone's thoughts in the last journal.

In this last journal of 2013, we are asking what are your top 3 favorite episodes of Transformers G1.

Tell us why these 3 episodes are your favorites! Was it a favorite character, story line or something else?

Thank you all for your continued support. And we wish you all Happy Holidays and hope to see you all in 2014!

Sincerely,

1. The Burden Hardest to Bear
This one gets really heavily into Rodimus' struggles with Leadership. It shows his longing for his lost youth, when he had little responsibility. He is tired, and rightly so --- and abandons his duty for a short time... But in the end, he is reminded that being Prime, the bearer of the Matrix is his destiny, his duty. "He belongs to the Matrix, just as it belongs to him." ... He retakes the Matrix with a clear mind. Although leadership will never be easy, at least he now understands that it is his purpose, and that his being chosen was no mistake...
Also! It shows that Rodimus is the ONLY transformer in the whole of G1 that has ever questioned the war. He laments that he doesn't see an end in sight, and that he tires to the mindless struggle... It gives me a feeling that he, and he alone, possessing these thoughts, will eventually be the one to truly end the war...

2. The Ultimate Weapon
Also gets into Rodimus' phycology. It shows his struggles with lack of confidence, and just how inferior he feels to Optimus. He is having a particularly rough time, and feels he is not capable of leading the Autobots. In the end, he realizes that he does indeed have what it takes. He thwart's Galvatron's bluff, walking forward confidently, and frightening the villain into retreating. An episode of realization, in which the young leader takes another step closer to becoming great...

3. Only Human
This episode was just too awesome. It's concept, for one thing truly invoked the imagination. Imagining the Transformers taking human form, and their experiences... There was so much potential for such a plot! It definitely should have been a 2 or 3 parter...
Plus, also being a fan of G.I.Joes, seeing it's direct cross-over ----- Cobra Commander being Old Snake!

Gosh, there are so many great episodes!!!... But if I must choose, there you have it. :)
